It’s Canadian chasing season, and June 24th featured some of the best tornado action ever from north of the border. Check out the incredible footage from Tornado Glory chaser Reed Timmer. He’s been interviewed by every Canadian network, most American networks, and even featured on the cover of the Winnipeg Sun.
If you’re in the Norman, OK area, be sure to come to a special screening of Tornado Glory tonight at Dreamer Concepts Studios, 324 E Main St. A variety of artistic exhibits will precede the main showing of Tornado Glory at 8:30pm. Following the movie, the cast and crew will participate in an informal panel discussion with attendees and have some collectible items available in a raffle. Everything’s free of charge. On both May 4th and May 5th, Tornado Glory chasers Reed Timmer and Joel Taylor tracked down multiple twisters across the plains. Along with Tornado Glory director Ken Cole, they shot perhaps the best close-up tornado footage in history. Check out the May 4th video:

If you happen to be in the Oklahoma City area this weekend, you will be able to visit with Tornado Glory director Ken Cole in a special DVD signing event at the Barnes and Noble on Memorial Road (next to the Quail Springs Mall). Starting at 2pm on Saturday April 28th, Ken Cole will be joining author Nancy Mathis as she presents her book Storm Warning: The Story of a Killer Tornado.
In addition to showing Tornado Glory, both Cole and Mathis will be talking about their experiences and signing copies of their work. If you’re a weather fan, you can’t afford to miss this tornado-themed event! For everyone who can’t make it, we’ll post pictures in the near future.
